Anchor

Hope that holds.
A church in the old customs house on Wharf Street. If it’s your first Sunday, someone in a navy lanyard will meet you at the door.
Welcome to Anchor
A steady place in a restless city.
Most people who live down here work long hours, and the weeks go fast. On Sundays we slow down. We sing, we pray, we open the Bible, and then a lot of us go for lunch at the fish place across the street.
Some people here have followed Jesus for fifty years. Some came for the first time last month. Both are normal.
Our storySundays at Anchor
Two services
on Sunday
Same message at both, and kids programs at both. The 9 is a little quieter, the 11 is fuller.
Plan your visit
9:00 AM · Early
The early gathering
Quieter, and the coffee bar is less busy. Lots of young families.

11:00 AM · Late
The late gathering
Our fullest room. The band plays a few more songs, and most people go out for lunch after.
